Description[]
The Honda Civic Type R is a high-performance version of the Honda Civic. The sixth generation of the Type R, introduced in 2022 and designed by Dai Hara, is based on the eleventh generation Civic; it is notably less aggressive in design than previous generations of the Type R with lesser decorative air vents and smaller air outlets. It uses a 2.0L K20C1 turbocharged inline-4 mated to a 6-speed manual; it is internally designated as the FL5 by Honda. Unlike previous generations of the Type R the car is manufactured in Yorii, Saitama, where the standard Civic liftback is also built. The car has broken a number of lap records, with a pre-production car breaking the lap record for a front-wheel drive car at both Suzuka Circuit and the Nürburgring.
This casting depicts a 2024 Honda Civic Type R with Spoon Sports parts.
