Description[]
The '49 Drag Merc is a drag racing version of a 1949 Mercury Eight. It is the second 1949 Mercury done by Hot Wheels, along with the highly customized and modified Purple Passion.
In posters, this casting was titled "'49-'50 Mercury Pro Mod". The casting lost its folding wheelie bar in 2023, as well as the chrome spoiler being changed to metal, becoming part of the body.
