Description
The '65 Dodge Coronet A/FX is a Hot Wheels casting and was one of several brand new castings which debuted in the 2009 Dragstrip Demons series. The A/FX stands for 'Factory Experimental' which was a drag racing class where auto manufacturers could modify their production vehicles specifically for drag racing. Modifications could include larger capacity engines and altered wheelbases (AWB). The A/FX class was short-lived but was an important stepping-stone to 'Funny Cars' with a completely opening body, a type of vehicle which are still used today.
