The Buick Riviera is a personal luxury car manufactured by the Buick division of General Motors. Designed by Dave Holls, the Riviera was redesigned for 1966 for its second generation. Compared to the previous Riviera, it was larger, longer, wider and heavier although it retained its cruciform X-frame, powertrain and brakes. 45,348 were produced for 1966.
