Description[]
Already a premier muscle car, the GTO enhanced its status as well as its popularity in 1966. Its muscular appearance continued to appeal, and a beefed up 400 cubic-inch, tri-power engine added a new chapter to the GTO legend. On the street or strip, the GTO continued to flex its muscle.
The '66 Pontiac GTO is a Hot Wheels casting which debuted in the collector-aimed (100% Hot Wheels) 2005 Showcase Hot Wheels: Detroit's Finest Series. It features an opening hood which displays a detailed engine. It was used five times before being discontinued.
