The "C4 Corvette Funny Car" is an unofficial name of a casting found on the defunct site hwvette.com. A website of one collectors Hot Wheels collection of Corvette which offers a hint of what the casting could be. Since this casting appeared to be made in the 1990s, looking up "90s Corvette Drag Car" shows similar C4 Corvette dragster with similar headlights, window design, and body looks, to suggest that is what this casting is trying to be.
Similar to the '94 T-Bird Stocker Prototype, this casting appears to be part of a defunct series that was similar to Crack-Ups, Flippers, & Crashers but with a rubber front bumper to get distorted when "crushed". The picture below shows the mechanics in the base and even a "7430" written. Perhaps a Toy Number and a clue to what this castings real name and purpose was.
This car was to be part of series of cars that where planned but never released.
