Description
The '88 Honda CRX was designed by Ryu Asada. It debuted in the 2019 Nightburnerz mainline segment. It is based on the second generation CR-X manufactured between 1988 and 1991.
This is the second Honda CR-X made by Hot Wheels, the other being a modified 1985 Model CR-X.

Great cars come in small packages! This nimble 2-seater accelerates sharply and squirts through corners, thanks to its high-revving 1.6 liter engine with 4 valves per cylinder and front-wheel drive. The rear lip spoiler provides extra stability in high speed turns.
Trivia
- It is one of Ryu's personal favorite cars and one which he had wanting to make for several years before its debut.
- Ryu wanted to include the extra rear window as part of the plastic window piece, but due to technical difficulties had to use a tampo print on the body to represent it.
