'98 Honda Prelude

Description[]

The '98 Honda Prelude is based off the BB5-BB9 generation of the Prelude, produced from 1996 to 2001. Squarish design cues were implemented as the previous generation did not sell well while retaining the front wheel drive layout. The Hot Wheels version of the Honda Prelude is based on Ryu Asada's Prelude SiR that his family owned in 1998. The debut color and the license plate of "84-71" is in reference to Asada's Prelude SiR.
