Description[]
Starting in 1956, the name "Biarritz" was given to the convertible version of the Cadillac Eldorado, as opposed to the hardtop "Seville" version. In 1953, "Eldorado" was a trim package for the Cadillac Series 62, and was offered only as a convertible, thus not necessitating a distinction. The Biarritz name was not used for the 1953 Cadillac.
