The Mercedes-Benz G-Class, colloquially known as the G-Wagen, is a series of four-wheel drive SUVs manufactured by Magna Steyr for Mercedes-Benz since 1979. It is characterized by its boxy styling and body-on-frame construction, and has since morphed into a luxury SUV line.
Some versions feature a removable plastic hardtop.
