Description[]
The Porsche 911 GT1 Straßenversion is a limited-production homologation high-performance sports car manufactured by Porsche from 1996 to 1999. Designed by Herbert Ampferer, Norbert Singer, Horst Reitter, Harm Lagaay and Tony Hatter, the 911 GT1 Straßenversion was designed to homologate the 911 GT1 for GT1 competition, with regulations stipulating 25 cars be built for competition. The car is powered by a 3.2L M96/80 twin-turbocharged flat-6 mated to a 6-speed manual, detuned due to emissions regulations; the engine produced 536 horsepower and did 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.8 seconds. 25 were produced.
