The Dodge Viper is a series of sports cars manufactured by Dodge, powered by large V10 engines. The third generation, styled by Osamu Shikado, featured heavy revisions design-wise based on the Viper Competition Coupe concept. The third generation, internally known as the ZB I, was marketed as the SRT-10 and replaced the older RT/10 and GTS models; initially launched as a convertible in 2002 as a 2003 model year model, a coupe version would be introduced in 2005 for the 2006 model year.
