This is a list of the 2005 Showcase Hot Wheels Series, sometimes called 'Oil Cans'. This was a series which used the '100%' Hot Wheels castings and packaged them in an individual acrylic case. They came in themed sub-series' consisting of 4 cars each. Some cars were available at specialty hobby shops in addition to a regular version, these 'Hobby' versions are a different color and came in a higher quality case.
Detroit's Finest Series[]
Note: The '70 Firebird T/A was slated to be 4/4 but was never released, nor was a 'Hobby' version of the '71 Chevelle.
