The RLC sELECTIONs Series debuted in 2004 as was a first of its kind allowing collectors at HotWheelsCollectors.com the opportunity to vote for 4 cars in a series and essentially vote each element of the casting to create a production model based on the popular vote. The 2021 series was the first one since 2014/2015 that two sELECTIONs cars were offered, because of several close finishes that occurred during voting.

NOTE: Because of the close finishes that occurred during this year's voting, a second sELECTIONs car was offered. The rounds for choosing casting and color were each done in a winner-take-all manner, with every possible option competing in one round for victory. Unlike most sELECTIONs releases, deco style and wheel type were not voted on by RLC members.
