The RLC sELECTIONs Series debuted in 2004 and was a first of its kind, allowing collectors at HotWheelsCollectors.com the opportunity to vote for 4 cars in a series and essentially vote each element of the casting to create a production model based on the popular vote. The 2022 series was the first since 2006 that the winning casting was decided through multiple choice, and the first since 2017 whereby wheel type was also decided by multiple choice.
NOTE: Just like the year before it, a second sELECTIONs car was offered in 2022 with the two runners-up of the first bracket competing against each other. Unlike most sELECTIONs releases, deco style and wheel type were not voted on by RLC members.
