The Toyota Land Cruiser Prado is a full-sized four-wheel drive SUV produced by Toyota since 1984. It is related to the standard Land Cruiser but is smaller than it. The fifth generation of the Land Cruiser Prado, introduced in 2023 and internally named the J250, was designed by Ji-won Kim, Kosuke Kubo and Tokiko Hirai under Yoshito Watanabe and featured a revised design direction, focusing on "practicality, durability and dependability" resulting in a retro-inspired boxy styling. The vehicle is marketed as the Land Cruiser in North America and some European countries, the Land Cruiser 250 in Japan and the Land Cruiser Prado in other markets; it is also badged as the Lexus GX 550 in some markets.
