Amaury Diaz-Serrano, a native of Puerto Rico-USA, landed his dream job at General Motors. While working as a GM industrial designer, he was asked to do something he’s fantasized about since he was 8 years old: to design a Hot Wheels car. His model - The Prototype-40, was later named GM Chevroletor for the 2008 Hot Wheels' Designers Challenge competition. It not only won the competition but also accolades among collectors and designers alike. Amaury's influence in designing GM cars that eventually became Hot Wheels castings extend to the 2013 Corvette, 2014 Camaro and the Cadillac V-16 Concept.
