Amaury Diaz Serrano is a Puerto Rican-American industrial designer who was one of the six designers who participated in the Hot Wheels Designers Challenge; he represented General Motors's Chevrolet division, for he was Senior Industrial Designer, by designing the Chevroletor for said series, initially known as "Prototype 40". Diaz-Serrano's dream was apparently to design a Hot Wheels car since he was a child. Diaz-Serrano joined GM in 1999, working on numerous designs such as the exterior design of the Cadillac Sixteen; he left in 2015 and currently manages his own firm, Amaury Diaz Serrano Industrial Design LLC.
