The 1973 film American Graffiti defined an era in which baby-boomers first hit the highways in their souped-up jalopies and customized hot rods. It was an age of innocence as America's teens began using their automobiles in rites of courtship - all to the sounds of glass-pack mufflers and '60s rock and roll.
To commemorate the 25th anniversary of this great film we have replicated two of its custom cars - the yellow '32 Ford Coupe and the '55 Chevy. These two classic hot rods faced off on a moonlit summer night, far out on a two-lane highway. And with roaring engines and screeching tires they burned lasting images into our memories.
