Description[]
The Aston Martin Valkyrie is a limited-production very-high-performance hybrid sports car produced by Aston Martin in collaboration with Red Bull Racing Advanced Technologies. Designed by Adrian Newey and Miles Nurnberger, the Valkyrie acts as Aston Martin's halo car and was designed as a track-focused car that would be viable for road usage. The Valkyrie is powered by a 6.5L Cosworth RA V12 assisted by a Integral Powertrain Ltd. electric motor; both units produce a combined output of 1,160 horsepower. This powertrain is mated to a 7-speed Ricardo automated manual. Additional variants, such as the Valkyrie Spider and the Valkyrie AMR Pro, were also developed. The car was also developed into the Valkyrie AMR-LMH, a racing version of the Valkyrie campaigned in the Hypercar class of the FIA World Endurance Championship by The Heart of Racing. 150 examples are planned of the Valkyrie, each costing $3.5 million, while 25 AMR Pros and 85 Spiders are also planned. All variants have sold out.
This casting features opening gullwing doors.
