Auriga Plásticos S.A. de C.V is a Mexican plastics company founded by Federico Valdés in 1969. The company manufactures plastics for numerous different applications but is also noted for its brief foray into the toy industry from 1981 to 1991.

In 1981, Auriga decided to enter the toy sector, and entered into a joint partnership with Mattel to create Aurimat, S.A. de C.V (a portmanteau of Auriga Mattel). The company competed against the now-defunct Lilí Ledy company, producing two doll lines as well as Star Wars figures under license from Kenner. The company manufactured Hot Wheels cars, Masters of the Universe figures, and most notably, the Playmobil line of toys. While marketing of the toys was done through Aurimat, the actual manufacturing of the toys was done via Auriga Plásticos.

Aurimat stopped manufacturing Hot Wheels by the mid to late-1980s; the license for Playmobil was later taken over by another company, Playmobil de México, in 1991. Aurimat subsequently exited the toy business and ceased to exist.
