Description[]
Beast Bash is a medium-sized folding playset featuring sound effects. The playset features a massive humanoid beast terrorizing a city, with the goal of the set being to evade the beast's attacks, defeat the beast and save the city. Four triggers are present on the playset; three control a movement on the beast and another sets a car in motion. One trigger causes the beast's fist to smash down, destroying buildings in the process and quaking the ground, setting cars in motion. A second trigger sets a car in motion to evade the beast's claw, which is activated by a third trigger; if caught, the car is swung upwards and trapped in the claw. A fourth trigger simply turns the beast's head as it taunts the player with menacing laughs and phrases. If the car makes it through the other side, it enters a manual lift and escapes the beast's rampage.
The set also includes a launcher which is attached to the front of the beast. When a car escapes the city, it can be put onto the launcher and launched at the beast, defeating it and saving the city. The playset requires 3 "LR44"-type button cell batteries for the various sound effects. No batteries are required however to play with the set as it is entirely mechanical. Parts of the playset are designed to fold up for easier storage.
A Flash video game related to this set was released on the Hot Wheels website, titled Beast Bash Beware.
Car(s) included[]
All versions of the playset do not come with any cars.
