The '''Bullet Nose''' is actually based on a "bullet-nosed" Studebaker Commander, hence the name of this casting. This car was #3 of 10 vehicles in the Torpedoes series. The ''Torpedo'' style was a new cartoon style introduced in 2005 and depicts a car in a skinny, ''torpedo''-like shape with outboard wheels. These unique vehicles should perform well on track sets but the exposed wheels make them more susceptible to bending axles. They're probably better suited for gravity-driven tracks than wall tracks or tracks with a [[booster]]. This series appears to be loosely based on the 2003 Kawasaki ZXR-9 Concept. Re-releases of Torpedoes vehicles have been somewhat limited, if existent at all.
