Description

The Bywayman is based on a 1973 Chevrolet Silverado C/K 20 pickup.

A special Toys 'r' Us exclusive version was released in 1979 under the name of Geoffrey's Pickup. The Bywayman was also slightly modified with a plastic snowplow and named the Super Scraper and Power Plower. It has also gone under the names of Pavement Pounder and Race Truck.

As a side fact, its base is shared with the Baja Breaker

The Super Scraper is a reissued casting with a modified base to add the snow plow on the front of the Bywayman. Released in 1980 into the Hot Wheels line-up.
