California Custom Series

California Customs
Produced	1990 - 1991

California Customs were sold in special packaging with a plastic medallion and a sticker sheet. They were a separate series of cars with bright colors and graphics sold during 1990 - 1991

Each car came with a plastic medallion based on if it is a Street car, Beach car, and Muscle car.

According to a 1997 June/August Newsletter article, the Baja Bruiser was suppose to be used in the California Custom Series with some retooling

Based on a color image of the same prototype, it's evident that this car was replaced by Path Beater in the California Custom Series (1990 Mattel Catalog)
