The Car Crusher playset was a long-running Hot Wheels playset initially introduced in the Hot Wheels World series in 1997. The set included a car crusher setup which would "crush" the included car into a cube; the "crushed" cars could then be retrieved via a trap door in the back. The set originally included a VW Bug.
A "Deluxe" bundle of the set was also released, including a tow truck and additional road pieces.
