Mattel, Inc. bought Mettoy, Ltd. UK in 1989 which owned Corgi. Many Corgi castings were used in the Europe exclusive Auto City line in 1994, and then later in the Hot Wheels Mainline, Action Packs, and in various playsets and multipacks.
