Robert Christian Colquhoun is a former Mattel employee who worked at Mattel over three stints from 2002 to 2015. A model maker by trade, he first joined Mattel for a brief time in 2002 as a designer for board games. He rejoined Mattel in 2008 and was assigned to Hot Wheels's "entertainment" department before leaving in 2010; he rejoined in 2012 as part of Hot Wheels's Innovation team before leaving in 2015. While at Hot Wheels, he designed the Extreme Shoxx vehicles, as well as the launchers used for that line of vehicles. He is currently a lead mechanical engineer and designer at Spin Master.
