Citroën is a French automobile company founded in 1919 by André Citroën, and produced cars, starting with the Citroën Type A. It was taken over by Peugeot in 1976, and remains under Stellantis North America to this day. The first licensed Hot Wheels Citroën castings were produced in the 1970s.
