Our Classical Gassers car set celebrates two of the gasser wars' more famous and able combatants.
John Mazmanian's supercharged Austin gas coupe with its chopped top and sloped back was aptly named "The Football" after its radical shape. In 1967 the Austin ran 161.87 MPH at 8.68 seconds and went on to win many match races and AA/GS programs in California.
George "Honker" Striegel of Clay Smith Cams owned and raced this Henry J, utilizing his technical expertise in manufacturing high performance equipment to get every bit of horsepower out of the classic Kaiser.
Together, these two vehicles have burned lasting memories in the hearts and minds of A/GS and AA/GS fans across the country.
