+ | NOTE: There are a few differences between the cars shown in the programs and the actual cars that came in the blister package. While the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile, '96 Mustang and Hydroplane appear to be the same as the final production Hot Wheels cars that came in the blister packages, that's not the case with '93 Camaro, Rigor Motor and Power Pistons. '93 Camaro is shown in the program with red wheels in the front and white wheels in the back (complete with Goodyear tampos on the tires, perfectly matching the race car driven by Jack Baldwin in 1992), but some time after the game was completed, this was changed to the 5-Spoke ([[5SP]]) wheels on the final production version. Rigor Motor originally had the Black Wall ([[BW]]) wheels and the chrome on the engine was originally light gold at the time it was photographed for the Rigor Motor program, but this was later changed to the 5-Spoke wheels and Green Chrome of the final production version. Power Pistons originally had the 5-Spoke Wheels during its program photography, but these were swapped out for the Pro Circuit 6-Spoke ([[PC6]]) wheels of the final version. |

Revision as of 17:56, 19 November 2019
Computer Cars, released in 1996, were six models that each came with a 3.5-inch floppy disc unique to that model. The disc included collectors facts, a comic strip and a mini-game. As of March 2019, the data off of the floppy disks of all 6 cars are available to download from Vetusware. As of October and November 2019, YouTube user 77Pacer has published 6 videos showcasing the programs of the Computer Cars, one video for each program.
NOTE: There are a few differences between the cars shown in the programs and the actual cars that came in the blister package. While the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile, '96 Mustang and Hydroplane appear to be the same as the final production Hot Wheels cars that came in the blister packages, that's not the case with '93 Camaro, Rigor Motor and Power Pistons. '93 Camaro is shown in the program with red wheels in the front and white wheels in the back (complete with Goodyear tampos on the tires, perfectly matching the race car driven by Jack Baldwin in 1992), but some time after the game was completed, this was changed to the 5-Spoke (5SP) wheels on the final production version. Rigor Motor originally had the Black Wall (BW) wheels and the chrome on the engine was originally light gold at the time it was photographed for the Rigor Motor program, but this was later changed to the 5-Spoke wheels and Green Chrome of the final production version. Power Pistons originally had the 5-Spoke Wheels during its program photography, but these were swapped out for the Pro Circuit 6-Spoke (PC6) wheels of the final version.
