Description[]
This original concept had to be scrapped due to the premiere of the TV series Space 1999 before the release of Star Wars, which had a ship with a similar look called the Eagle. The cockpit of the original Millennium Falcon remained the same, but other than that, the ship took on an entirely new and unique form!
