Revision as of 20:22, 25 November 2008
The Custom Mustang is a Hot Wheels casting designed by Harry Bradley based on the the 1967 Ford Mustang. The Custom Mustang debuted in the 1968 Basic Car line as part of the Original 16 castings.
The tool was only used in the 1968 mainline and wasn't used again. The Custom Mustang tool was recreated in 1994 for the Vintage Series II. It ran until 1998 until it fell out of use once again. In 2005, it was tooled a third time to be a part of the HWC Real Riders Series for that year. Since then, the tool has only been used for online or convention offerings and has not been used at retail.
