Description[]
Despite being based on a 1970 Dodge Coronet Super Bee, Hot Wheels could not get the name on this car correct.
It debuted in the collector-aimed '100% Hot Wheels' Line in the 30th Anniversary of '70 Muscle Cars 4-Car Set. No name was given on the back of the box but the name on the base read: "1970 Plymouth Super Bee", this did not change for its entire production. For its next release in the 2004 Showcase Hot Wheels, it was simply named "Dodge Super Bee", and for its final release in the 40th Anniversary of Hot Wheels Mopar Muscle 2-Car Set it was named " '69 Dodge Coronet Super Bee". Over 3 separate releases, no names given to this car were correct.
It features an opening hood which displays a detailed engine. It was only used four times before being discontinued.
