Description

Dream Rod is an unreleased casting depicting a futuristic sports car. It was designed for the Convertables series, and the hood scoop would have revealed an exposed engine when put in warm water. It features an exposed engine with a scoop, separate rear spoiler, and covered wheel arches. The side windows feature a cutout around the bottom showing the inside of the car.

5 examples are known to exist:

• A painted resin owned by Bruce Pascal, in metalflake red with UH wheels.
• A painted resin in Purple with paper gradient flame decals and BW wheels. Notably this model features a raised rear spoiler unlike the other prototypes. Name for this casting found from certificate of authenticity included with this model.
• A raw body with barbie skin windows and base from the Larry Wood collection.
• A raw body with barbie skin spoiler from the Larry Wood collection.
• A yellow painted body from the Larry Wood collection.
