Description[]
The Eagle Mark II Ford or Mark II is a unreleased casting that was meant to appear in the 1969 line under the Grand Prix series. Only known existence of this casting is the big scale model pictured above (used to help designers make the 1/64 version) and a letter from an ex-Mattel employee giving it is name. Both owned by Bruce Pascal.
Help[]
Bruce Pascal got this Lot of 8 Resin Big Models of what was suppose to be the '69 Grand Prix series cars, along with a letter of authenticity. 2/8 of them became actual Hot Wheel cars for the 1969 line. But Bruce Pascal does not know the exact name of these casting, and the letter of authenticity only gives a clue to what the car might be.
Comparing these models with images of the actual race car, looking at the window design, looking for certain features on the car, help suggest what the casting might be.

Also using the process of elimination helps as well. According to the letter the 8 cars are:
1) Indy Eagle (points out this is an aluminum epxoy)
2) Brabham Repco (points out this is an aluminum epxoy)
3) Gurney Eagle '68
4) Huffaker-Offenhauser
5) Porsche-Porsche or Al Stein's Twin Engine Porsche
6) Don't recall the name, this looks like a McLaren M1A
7) Don't recall the name, Mario Andretti drove this. After researching cars that Mario Andretti drove around 1967 - 1969 I saw the Gerhardt '67 looked to resemble this casting.
8) Mark II, or an Eagle Mark II Ford?
These are my best guesses. Anyone with knowledge on 60s Indy cars to confirm or correct the names of these casting would be much appreciated. Thanks
