The FAO Schwarz Classic Collection was a box set sold exclusively at FAO Schwarz in 1999. It consisted of 6 "Art Deco" era cars from the 1930's, some of which are arguably the best version/release of these respective castings. The packaging featured a faux wood "spine", emulating the dashboard and interior materials commonly seen in the real life counterparts of the cars in this set. It also featured elegant cursive font with a short description of each car inside the packaging, which opened like a book to reveal the cars in plastic windows.
