FTE2's are the replacement to the original FTE wheels that had been used on Faster than Ever models since 2005. FTE2's appeared halfway through 2011, and have been used since. FTE2's are generally not well received, as their design has been criticized for causing the car to crash on tracks after travelling at a high amount of speed, due to the wheels being considered "bumpy".
