Description[]
The Ferrari 499P is a sports prototype racing car built by Dallara for Ferrari for use in endurance racing. Styled by Flavio Manzoni of Centro Stile Ferrari and designed by Ferdinando Cannizzo, the 499P is homologated for the Hypercar class of the FIA World Endurance Championship and marked fifty years since Ferrari last contested in the top category of the 24 Hours of Le Mans as a factory effort. It is powered by a 3.0L F163 twin-turbocharged V6 mated to a 7-speed Xtrac sequential assisted by a Ferrari 900 V battery and motors producing a maxiumum of 700 horsepower as limited by Balance of Performance (BoP) regulations. The 499P took its first major victory at the 2023 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The initial livery of this casting is based on chassis 12 10P, the winner of the 2023 24 Hours of Le Mans.
