The Fiat 131 is a small family sedan manufactured by Fiat from 1974 to 1984. Succeeding the 124, the 131 used a steel body design with a front-engined rear-wheel drive layout. The 131 Abarth Rally was a limited-production version built for homologation purposes, built in collaboration with Fiat, Bertone and Abarth. A highly-successful rally car, especially in Group 4, the 131 won the World Rally Championship for manufacturers in 1977, 1978 and 1980. 400 were produced.
