Description
Flamin' Frank's Fiat Coupe was a body shell over a fuel dragster chassis and engine. It smoked the quarter mile in 8.15 seconds at over 200 mph. But his car did something that had never been done, nor would ever be done again. His tires would actually light on fire during the run. Tragically, Frank died in a plane crash before he could share the secret to his popular pyrotechnic trick.
The Fiat Coupe Dragster was a Hot Wheels casting which debuted in the 2004 Showcase Hot Wheels - Designer Series. It featured a removable body which displayed the interior of the dragster. It was only used twice before being discontinued.
