The Toyota 4Runner (read: "forerunner") is a mid-sized sport utility vehicle (originally compact) sold around the world since 1984, replacing the older Toyota Trekker which was essentially a Toyota Hilux converted into an SUV by Winnebago. Designed by Koichi Suga, the fifth generation 4Runner was introduced in 2009 and sold since then with the addition of a number of facelifts. Despite being manufactured in Japan at Toyota's Tahara Plant the car is mainly manufactured for export; the car was however sold in Japan until 2009 with the name Hilux Surf.
This casting is based on a Toyota 4Runner with the TRD Pro package, an off-road-centric package for the vehicle; specifically, this casting is based on the 4Runner owned by marketing manager Jimmy Liu. This casting features a partially rolled down rear window.
