Hot Wheels has produced 4 iterations of the Ford Escort starting in 1983 (Coincidentally replicating only the European model).

The first casting is the 1983-launched Ford Escort, based on the 1983 XR3i model popular in Europe at the time.

The second casting, Escort Rally, debuted in the 1998 First Editions series. It is modeled after the 1993 Ford Escort RS Cosworth, a rally version of the fifth-generation Escort. This vehicle, along with the Sierra Cosworth that it succeeded, is nicknamed "Cossie" by its fans. The car is notable for being owned and praised by former Top Gear UK TV presenter Jeremy Clarkson.

The third casting released is the '70 Ford Escort RS1600, which debuted in the 2015 HW Workshop Garage series, depicts a right-hand drive model of the first-generation Escort in rallying configuration. This car was featured in the Fast and Furious Movie franchise.

The fourth casting is the '78 Ford Escort RS1800 MK2, which debuted in the 2021 Ford Race Team Premium Collector Set. It is based on a second-generation Escort in rallying configuration.

The fifth and latest Escort made is the Ford Escort RS2000 depicts a Ford Escort Mk II with various "Series-X" performance parts fitted; the parts themselves were colloquially known as "X-Packs".
