Description[]
The De Tomaso Pantera was a mid-engined sports car produced by De Tomaso Automobili from 1971 to 1992. Designed by Tom Tjaarda of Ghia, the Pantera was the successor of the Mangusta and debuted at Modena in 1970. As was tradition with many De Tomaso cars, the Pantera used an American V8, which in this case was a 5.8L Ford Cleveland V8. 7,260 were produced.
This model features an opening hood, trunk and doors. This model was created specifically for the Gran Toros line and was not featured in any of the original Mebetoys lineups; it was however later converted for use in the Mebetoys lineup after the Gran Toros line was discontinued.
