Description[]
The Ford Auto Assembly was a large-sized playset themed after the Ford Motor Company. It was themed after an assembly line where Ford cars would be assembled and painted. After the car was assembled, it would be sent into a painting station, and would be launched out afterwards. This set was included inside the large Ultimate Ford Complex bundle, including this set, the Ford Dealership and the Car Wash.
A similar set was seen in 2009 when it was rereleased in the Ultimate Raceway bundle, which was essentially a modern rerelease of the Ultimate Ford Complex bundle. The set remained practically unchanged apart from color palette swaps on the set and the removal of any and all mentions or references to the Ford Motor Company.
All versions of the set come with a special Taurus Stocker with a removable body. This casting came in three separate pieces (body, chassis, engine block) and had to be assembled through use of the machinery as depicted in the playset.
