Description[]
The Ford Model A is a full-sized automobile produced by the Ford Motor Company from 1927 to 1931. Designed by Henry and Edsel Ford, the Model A was Ford's second market success following the Model T. It was available in numerous body styles such as coupes, roadsters and phaetons and was available in four standard colors. 4,858,644 were produced over the four-year period, whereupon it was replaced by the Ford Model B.
This casting is a replica of Old Red, a 1931 Ford Model A owned by Hot Wheels Design Manager Craig Callum; Callum uses Old Red as an occasional racing vehicle.
It introduces the WWIM wheel type. A helmet with goggles can be seen on the bench seat.
