Gotta Go 2 is a more modernized take on the Gotta Go. It features the same cab design as the original, but compared to its predecessor the casting features a new set of exhaust pipes resembling plumbing pipes and rear and front fenders resembling rolls of toilet paper. In development the casting was named Gotta Go #2, named after the term #2, an informal and common term for defecation; the casting is still labeled as such on listings and other websites, the Hot Wheels id app and even the tampo for the casting.
While the toilet seat cover of the casting can move up and down similar to its predecessor casting, the cover does not move up and down as the casting moves along, with no provisions available on the casting allowing for this sort of feature.
