Description[]
The Honda Racer is a two-seater open-wheel race car concept resembling Honda's "H" logo powered by a V10 engine. Both the real car and the Hot Wheels model of it were designed by Honda's senior car designer, Guillermo González.
The casting is described as the Honda H-Spec Racer in certain promotional material.

The Honda Racer™ was designed by Guillermo González. Growing up in East L.A., González remembers buying Hot Wheels® track from the second-hand stores and setting up elaborate courses with jumps built on stacks of books, which fueled his desire to become a car designer. Built in the shape of the Honda "H" emblem, González combined iconic styling, power, and racing heritage into his design. A powerful V10 engine and twisted exhaust make this Designers Challenge™ winner the ultimate Honda racer.
