The Honda VFR750R, internally codenamed RC30, is a fully-faired racing motorcycle manufactured by Honda from 1987 to 1990. Designed by Kazuo Honda and introduced for homologation in the World Superbike Championship, the VFR750R was powered by a 748cc V4 mated to a 6-speed manual transmission with a chain final drive. A highly successful motorcycle design, the VFR750R won numerous races, notably the 1988 and 1989 World Superbike Championships. 3,000 were produced.

Sparing no expense, Soichiro Honda commissioned this two-wheeled legend to smoke the competition, with features previously reserved for racing motorcycles. And smoke them it did, as it sped to wins in both the Superbike World Championship and the Macau Grand Prix.
