Hot Wheels Video Racer Micro Camera Car is the only action camera that can be transformed into a 1:64 track compatible car! With the included clips and straps, it can also be attached to bikes, helmets, skateboards—almost anything! Hot Wheels Video Racer has 30 frames per second recording capability and can record up to 12 minutes of video. A built in LCD screen on the undercarriage of the Hot Wheels Video Racer unit allows for instant feedback to see if the shot was captured or not. Video can be edited with Hot Wheels Video Racer software to tell your own thrilling vehicle experience and share it with friends and family.

The exact kinda of camera within the car is unknown, but what is known is the camera was of low quality. With limited to no settings the camera had very low lighting, and because of low frame rate, could not capture track action very well. Digital footage came out in .avi format, but for the early 2010s, having a tiny camera within a 1/64 car was impressive. See Gallery below.

If going on the track is not your thing, the car had a case that covered it and with the case, could strap onto anything such as bikes, skateboard and such.

Fun Fact: As Mattel made tiny camera Hot Wheels cars, they made a tiny camera Barbie Doll if one wants to see what their Barbie doll sees.

In the early to mid 2010s, the Go Pro was introduced; A tiny camera that caught high definition and great quality. Hot Wheels made Zoom In in 2018 which is a casting that simply carries a Go Pro, making the Video Racer Camera Car obsolete.
